Omni Austin Hotel Southpark

It is a classy downtown hotel that is off the beaten path which makes for lower rates and free parking. The service is reliably great and accommodating, especially when I housed my wedding guests there. However, in all the times I have stayed there the dining services have not been worth the money. Parking is free but somewhat hard to find at busy times of the evening.

I was very impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was great! The bed was extremely comfortable and the drapes allowed the room to stay dark even when the sun was up. I had room service delivered in the morning and the food was delicious and no problems with the accuracy of my order.

This hotel made me feel secure: It was located in a safe area. There are lots of employees on duty at all hours.

They have a great pool (but the sauna was out of order), they had comfortable robes, a disappointing view, a picturesque lobby, the bathtub too small, I had a pretty room, and a great pillow selection.

The room went way above my expectations. The staff was always helpful and very friendly. The room service was excellent and quick. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable. I am very impressed with the level of quality and the attention to detail that this hotel displayed.

I was billed for an extra day, they said this had to be handled through another billing department instead of just giving me my money back when I complained the next day.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They had comfortable beds and linens, nice robes, a Jacuzzi and a sauna.
