Official Hotel Information
One block from famous East Beach is the place to experience turn of the century charm at the Old Yacht Club Inn. The Inn opened in 1980 as Santa Barbara's first bed and breakfast and is housed in two historic homes. The original house is a California Mission Craftsman built in 1912 and was used during the roaring 1920'2 as the Santa Barbara Yacht Club. It is the only bed and breakfast in Santa Barbara with a beach location. The Inn was lovingly restored in 1980 and has been completely upgraded over the years with private entrances, decks and balconies. Both homes are comfortably furnished with antiques, Oriental rugs, colorful fabrics and wallpapers that capture the warm hospitality that is the trademark of the innkeepers themselves. All rooms have telephones and private baths, some with whirlpool tubs.

The emphasis on Bed and Breakfast here would be on the Breakfast! A great way to start a morning: Great food. The Inn itself was perfectly fine, in Santa Barbara there is so much to do, great place to go for a get away.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Yacht Club Inn in “The Cottage” for our 5 year anniversary. The Inn was beautiful and our room looked like something out of a romance novel (and I mean that in a good way)! We loved the fireplace and the jacuzzi...

A perfect vacation get-away by the beach. Friendly staff and delicious food. I especially loved the Santa Barbara omelet with toasted crumpet and poached pear. They have beach cruiser bikes for riding along the bike path that you can access just a...
