Never stayed in a room but used the reception hall. GORGEOUS! The stairwells make the room. Has dance floor and stage area, as well as balcony. The food is absolutely amazing! They decorate...
i thought the hotel was amazing everything was perfectly managed and I was just amazed!i would definitely tell others to go here for a great vacation i also thought the food was great i will definitely come back next year maybe even the year after...
45 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This is a great place to get away from it all and relax. It's old so it, it has its "charm," and it's well worth the visit.
I loved the old fashioned feel to the whole place, plus the hotel clerks were the best! They went above and beyond their duty in helping my girls and I have the most enjoyable stay possible.
The room I had was on the small side, but had great ambiance, and I loved the balcony and roof top hot tub. The gardens are much more inviting than the photos on their website show, too. The "southern" breakfast was okay (the biscuits were fabulous), but not top shelf. The hallway noise could be invasive sometimes, but overall, I loved the place.
Staying here was like stepping into a dream

I think that Old Capitol Inn is excellent. My husband & I spent our honeymoon there and it was exceptional service. The breakfast was delicious...it reminds you of home. I recommend to any one who wants the comfort of home away from home.

The Old Capitol Inn Bed & Breakfast is wonderful! Not only is the continental southern breakfast in the morning delicious, there is a complimentary wine and cheese tasting in the afternoons that is great after a long day. It was a wonderful home away from home.

Excellent
I stayed at this hotel with my wife for our honeymoon and it was a fabulous experience. The rooms are beautiful and classically decorated. The service is excellent as well. I would highly recommend staying at this inn.
