33 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The Empire Condo Suites Hotel was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Do not stay here! The front desk management was absolutely rude and insulting. The hotel smells like cat litter in the hallways and in the rooms. I was forced to spend one night at another hotel because I could not get entrance into the hotel after hours because the keypad code did not work and I could not gain entrance into the hotel. When I brought this to the attention of management, they refused to address my concern by saying that I must have entered the incorrect code.
The hotel room was also infested with ants and other flying insects. It was almost impossible to leave any food on the counter tops in the kitchen with the ant problem that this hotel had. Given the infestation of this hotel it should be condemned simply on this basis alone. For anyone considering a hotel for extended stay or vacation in Miami Beach Florida, do not book your hotel reservation at the Empire Condo Suites Hotel.
I am not likely to return to the Ohana Hostel.
I would not recommend it to friends.
