This place rents by-weekly and monthly, has a microwave and tiny fridge. The room that my fiance rented when he moved out of my nice house was a dump to say the least and I must be pretty bad to make someone want to live in a place like that. His toilet isn't even bolted to the floor. If you dare sit on it you get the initial scare that its going to tip over. It is a dirty place, and I question the owners\managers integrity as business people to allow some of the things to go on there. People are always looking for an affordable place to stay on vacation, and there is no need to run a place like that unless you to have issues. There is alot of traffic throughout the night. One evening I sat ouside with my fiance' and watched as a man approached a nice looking family who was from Wyoming that had just returned from the temple accross the street and he followed them to their room then as the family was preparing to leave, the man convinced them to give him a ride, how scary that this trusting family would do that, especially with the baby in the back seat. As we were going inside another man approached my fiance' and asked him if he had a vehicle and he told him he wasn't going anywhere so don't bother. One patron that lived there had just been realeased from prison and would never step all the way out of his door, Gee, I wonder what he did. The person working in the office took my fiance's money and claimed he didn't give him enough, and still owed one hundred dollars. When my fiance' argued that he better count all his money because he wasn't getting any more, the worker finally said, that he looked honest enough, and if he was short he would let him know. He never approached him after that. You would think that the police would be keeping an eye on this place, so why aren't they. If you know Ogden, the location enough is scary.

The Marriott, Hampton Suites and Ben Lomond were full, so we got 'bumped' to the next closest location for our conference. This place is a dump, and even that may be a compliment because some dumps are nice and clean and do not look so bad as this place.
It is old, run-down, the carpets are severely stained, they had dirty walls and old fixtures in the bathroom that are scratched and stained though they "appeared" clean, it was hard to tell (I took a shower with plastic bags over my feet just to be safe.)
We tried two different rooms before the sleazy manager finally gave us a room that was half-way decent. There was no heat in the first two rooms because the wall units don't work for heat. Their light bulbs were burned out, and even missing. The room had stained and dirty lampshades, drapes, and furniture in the room. I would hate to see these rooms under a 'black' light like on CSI -- eeek! The bed was actually comfortable, but the pillows are only one-inch thick and feel as if they are stuffed with cotton balls. I think a marshmallow would have worked better for a pillow. The sheets and spread appeared and smelled clean, but there were long black hairs in the bathroom on the floor and on the cheap plastic toilet seat which moved around when sitting down.
I'm glad I bought Lysol and Clorox at the gas station next door.
There are guests here that I am told are weekly and monthly. they are a dirty and scary group, some of them. Its only 30 degrees out and they are outside in the parking lot all night long, cars coming and going at all hours, and its not a reassuring feeling when you see bullet holes in the windows of the lobby/office building.
Th eman that checked us in seemed sleazy, was hard to understand, and was offering to make us a "deal" on the room because we are "good people. At the so-called free breakfast (coffee & cheerios only) we were very disappointed. This was misleading and dishonest, and their business center is just a very slow computer in the lobby.
This place is dirty outside, and dirty inside. The lobby stinks bad, but the nice lady who replaced the manager told us they had floodwater in the basement last week and they were not able to get rid of the mold. The man during the night was nice and helpful, almost apologetic. She brought us light bulbs that worked, and toilet paper and towels, since we didn't have them in the room.
If you're really stuck, then stay here, but beware, it's overpriced, so you can't even say you get what you pay for. The room should have been 20 dollars, not 60 because he jacked the price because of the conference. We were told normally rooms are 40, but there are so few choices in Ogden, that unfortunately, after the Marriott, Hampton Suites and Ben Lomond, this is the best of the rest of motels downtown which is meaning this place is lucky enough to be the best of the worst.
Avoid this place, drive further down to the Motel 6, we didn't know there was one, at least they have standards.
