Ocean View Lodge is located just one mile north of the center of Fort Bragg, California, along the beautiful Mendocino Coast and just fifteen minutes north of the Village of Mendocino. All of our rooms have 180o whitewater ocean views. All accommodations are over 500 ft.Many rooms have a Grecian columned whirlpool, stepped bedroom with fireplace and pedestaled king-size bed under a vaulted ceiling, mirrored vanity, safe, refrigerator, electronic key and tiled entry with patio or balcony. With our location on the State Park?s Ten-Mile Coastal Trail, you can enjoy whales spouting and spectacular sunsets from your room, find secluded beaches visited by sea birds and seals or a headlands bluff bathed by cool ocean spray from waves crashing on the rocks below.
Few accommodations (Hotels, motels, lodges or Bed and Breakfast Inns) can match the breathtaking views and serenity of Ocean View Lodge. And few locations can match the beauty and variety of attractions that the Mendocino coast has to offer. There are a number of hotels, motels, lodges and Bed and Breakfast Inns in the town of Fort Bragg, but only a few hotels and motels are located along the magnificent Ten-Mile Coastal Trail with its miles of awesome beaches, tide pools teaming with a variety of ocean life, crashing waves and spectacular sunsets. And of the few hotels and motels located along the Ten-Mile Coastal Trial, none can match Ocean View Lodge?s accommodations in room size, amenities and views.

70 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The place is very comfortable and clean but a little expensive. They advertise an ocean view, which is not correct, it overlooks just a small pond and you cannot even see the ocean.
I am not likely
to return to the Ocean View Lodge.

What a wonderful place! The Rooms are so beautiful and Spacious. The view of the ocean is outstanding, the sunset over the pacific ocean from the in room whirlpool was so romantic. And the Fireplace too!

My husband and I celebrate our 10th year anniversary at the Ocean View Lodge in the whirlpool suite on 12/03/04. Amazing ocean views. Very clean room. We also went horseback riding at the Ricochet Ridge Ranch. Espectacular romantic getaway.
