We are the most affordable hotel on the beach and every room has a private balcony. All of our rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary decor. Each room offers comfortable accommodations including fridge- microwave- color satellite TV with HBO and a direct dial phone. Our spacious One Bedroom accommodations feature a full kitchen- 1 bathroom- private balcony. Oceanfront suites offer breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Local activities include 15 exceptional golf courses like LPGA- Halifax Plantation- and Cypress Head. Less than an hour drive you can visit the nations oldest city- St. Augustine or Kennedy Space Center- Disneyworld- Sea World- and Universal Studios. Many cruise lines depart from Port Canaveral. Fly into DAB-Daytona Beach International Airport or take a short trip from SFB-Sanford-Orlando- JAX-Jacksonville and MCO-Orlando International Airports. If you are looking to spend a lot on your room we are not the hotel for you- but if you want clean comfortable accommodations on the beach stay at The Ocean Sands Hotel.

50 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Stay away from the Ocean Sands. I don't know where the reviews from this page came from but it is obviously rigged or set-up. The Ocean Sand is a known drug haven and hang-out for local prostitutes. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS HOTEL!!!! You don’t even have to take my word for it just call the Daytona Beach Police Dept and ask them about the Ocean Sands. The property also needs to be totally renovated. IT SUCKS!!!
