we made a reservation over the phone. and were very impressed with the rate we got for an apartment for the weekend. well let me tell you when we got there it was the most horrible place. NASTY CARPET BROKEN DOWN CHAIRS AND FURNITURE, THE BATH TUB WAS BROWN, AND STRANG PEOPLE ALL AROUND.DISGUSTING!!!!RUN FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE DIDN'T STAY THERE THANK GOODNESS./

Their staff is cool; they mind their own business, don't pester you with stupid questions and they hand out all sorts of cool free gifts. Also they don't give out your info to parents who call to check on you. Ocean deck is awesome. I just wish they sold beer, but the location ain't all that bad since they do sell beer pretty close by.

It's Ok. You get your money's worth, it's not extraordinary, but it's clean and comfortable, which matters most. And Yes, I too loved the indoor heated pool. Refrigerators in the rooms are nice and big and staff is friendly.

It's a nice place. I really liked the pools. You can swim your laps in the outdoor pool and then jump into the hot indoor pool to get warm. They have nice plants outside too and balconies from which you can watch the sunrise.

But, most of all, I LOVED THE PRICES and special deals.

Stay away from the Ocean Sands. I don't know where the reviews from this page came from but it is obviously rigged or set-up. The Ocean Sand is a known drug haven and hang-out for local prostitutes. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS HOTEL!!!! You don’t even have to take my word for it just call the Daytona Beach Police Dept and ask them about the Ocean Sands. The property also needs to be totally renovated. IT SUCKS!!!

Cool! We partied all night and nobody kicked us out even though we were pretty rough and noisy. Didn't see any roaches. The pool was great. Felt like a hot tap. Awesome!

I enjoyed their cool staff and the security because you can be sure that nobody is too bother you on your vacation. I love the beach and the price and a kitchen, I thought it was at home for a sec. You should stop over there if you pass through and check them out.

Loved the hot pool, the comfy king size bed, and room service.

Staff was so courteous. Front desk gals looked up phone numbers for me and shared pizza with us. Great view of the ocean for nice price. Nice, quiet place for a fun family weekend.
