I usually stay in 2 or 3 star hotels to save money, but I have never had a worse experience than this one...never had anything even close. If you have any other option, DO NOT STAY HERE. Here is why:
1. Key cards had to be reprogrammed almost every time we tried to get back into our rooms from being somewhere (about 7 times throughout our stay of two nights).
2. The sink in the bathroom was stopped up and had to be plunged, which they did with a nasty toilet plunger that you know had to have been in some nasty...you know...and they didn't even bother to clean up when they were done.
3. There was never any ice in the entire building during our two day stay.
4. We never received any maid service. After the first night, we told the front desk around 5:30pm that we had not received any maid service and that we had overflowing trash cans and needed fresh towels and soap. She said they would send someone up right away. When we returned around 11pm, the room still had not been serviced. When I called down, the front desk said, "Come down and we'll give you some towels, soap, and trashbags." They expected me to provide my own maid service, even though it was included in the price of the room. When I asked if this service was not included, and they said yes, but there was nothing they could do now that the cleaning crew was off for the day.
5. The air conditioner in our room was insanely loud. It went on and off all night. Each time I'd start to drift off, the a/c would come on and wake me up. Then, I'd get used to it being on, and drift off, and it would go off, waking me up. It was a vicious cycle. I ended up having to stuff my ears with toilet paper to get any sleep, which wasn't much.
6. The tv in the bedroom had no sound, just picture. And no, it wasn't muted.
7. I hope you are skinny if you are staying here, because the water in the shower just comes out in one two inch wide jet stream. You have to hop around the whole shower to get different parts of your body wet. God forbid if someone else in the building is taking a shower at the same time as you, because then the water just dribbles out. I had to wait 5 minutes in the shower covered in soap for the water pressure to come back so I could hop around in the tiny jet of water and rinse off.
8. There was mildew caked in the corners of the shower.
