Don't let the word "charming" fool you. That's how the Ocean Park Inn is described on their website. They also decided that it was time to paint and scrape the outside when we were there , every morning waking up to ladders scraping against concrete and the sound of paint stripping tools. True, they did give one night for free but only after I went and complained and was put through to their manager. Some of the staff were about as welcoming as one might welcome getting a root canal.

33 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I booked this hotel using my Amex card for my friend. My friend paid by his credit card when he checked out, and later on we found that both our cards were charged. The management is the worst I have ever seen. Manager never available. To all customers out there, don’t book this hotel ever with your credit card. You are surely going to be cheated. I disputed the charges with my credit card company even then, it could not be resolved, as they put my credit card number, and showed my friends signature to the credit card company. The dispute is still going on. Also, when I booked the hotel room they said you will get AAA discount, but they never gave it to my friend. Overall, a very bad experience.
