This hotel is very close to the beach (half a block?) and the rooms are decent (consistent with the price). However, I would never reccomend this hotel to anyone. My room was on the first floor - there was no privacy curtain so it was either completely shut in, or everyone could see in the room. It is a very, very child friendly hotel - kids were running up and down, screaming late into the night. I could hear every conversation through the walls. Drunk people yelled all night. Kids were also running around the lobby behind the front desk so the staff must live on site. They were very "laid back" (AKA very, very unprofessional).

This hotel was a nightmare! We booked for 2 nights and had to pay up front. The first night there were people talking loud and drinking outside our room around 11 PM, at 2 AM I had to call the police to quiet them up so we could finally get some sleep. In the bathroom several small tiles were missing and roaches were seen there in the nightime. At 7 AM the next morning we were woke up to the sound of a rat or a mouse scurrying across the floor of our room. We were cold, the room had only a small very old wall heater with one heat setting. There were no clocks in the room. There was a water/mold stain on the table under the phone. The furniture was very old and mismatched. Don't waste your money staying here. We were offered a partial refund by management, but one week later I am still not able to get a straight answer as to the status of the refund! Horrible!

For the price we paid ($*/nt) we expected much more than a run-down motel room, but price was for location. Overall room was clean, but place is fairly run-down and lots of noises at night - ceiling fan was not balanced so wobbled all night.

While the rate for a room so close to the beach was just too enticing to pass up, pass it up.

The motel was filled with out of control characters that were up not just late but all night. It was obvious there were riff-raff on site because the walls were so thin we could here the patron next door spent most of the night calling "massage parlors" for service. The other patrons were drinking in the parking lot all night with police showing up at least 3 times. There was no manager or security on site, and it was scary to be there.

We requested a refund, but were told we were told there would be mayhem, partying laughing and drinking all night long when we checked in. Right, doesn’t make much sense does it? It was the worst place I have ever stayed and what was the most frustrating was management was apparently friends with most of the rowdy people and chose to do nothing. In fact, the manager's excuse for no refund was "well this weekend there are no rules I know we told you".

The room was old and run down. Had we been able to sleep it would have been with our heads at the foot of the bed because the foot of the bed was higher than where the pillows were. The bathroom was dirty, the furniture smelled like vomit and sink was broken, tile was broken off of floor and the dual door locks did not work. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere nice. The one rating is because there are no zeros.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Breeze Inn. Overall, the rooms were very clean, personal was friendly. It’s in a great location.

This motel is 1 block away from where it's happening in Pismo Beach. The Pier, Splash Cafe, and other shopping spots.
