For the price, you can't go wrong. It is located within walking distance to Ueno Station where you can get to most of the tourist destinations.
We stayed for three days and the service was excellent. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hey have fresh towels, good people who do speak English. They have three computers in the lobby which are free also a small kitchenette and laundry. The washing machine was fast, but the dryer takes a while so be sure to have some 100 yen coins. We did a lot of walking on our trip. If you have time Hakone was very nice. Buy the Hakone Free Pass and enjoy the views of Mt. Fuji. We would definitely stay at the Oak Hotel again.
