Good
While not on the beach and not the newest hotel in Waikiki, location is good and close walking distance. Staff is extremely friendly and warm. Made my 10 year old feel important and like a part of their family. I would highly recommend the Malia...

Mediocre
I dont think this was such a great place, I wouldnt give it three stars. The view wasn't great, the rooms were awful. At least they were clean, but offered nothing at all. Everything had a charge, the safe in the room, the coffee... usually that...
Our stay was unexpectedly extended and the Ohana Waikiki West was booked so we had to change hotels. We booked into a 1 bedroom suite at the Malia just 4 blocks down the road. The quality of this hotel was a bit nicer than the Ohana West, but then ...

Good
Though the room was a bit dated and the ceiling was dirty from the A/C, the room was fine for the price I paid for it. It was comfy and simple. There needs to be a separate elevator for just the parking lot, because that one takes forever when you ...

Prices for rooms were unacceptable. Several hotels were under renovation in the area so all open hotels took advantage of tourists and high prices, including the OHANA resorts.
22 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The rooms were pretty clean and not too small for the price. The balcony and large windows were important to me when booking the room. The proximity to the beach and downtown was good, too.
