While staying with friends in Hawaii over New Year's Eve, the owner of the house got sick and we had to book a hotel -- the day before New Year's Eve. It wasn't bad in an emergency (when the alternative was to go home!) but the location isn't great...
45 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Needed a place to stay for an overnight connection. Basic airport hotel - did the job but nothing to write home about. If you need an overnight close to the airport this will do the trick but don't plan on vacationing here.

The Ohana hotel staff was somewhat helpful. The initial room we walked into was not cleaned. When we arrived in the room the carpets were dirty and the bathroom had a lot of mold and mildew. It was very dirty, so I asked for and I got another room.
