27 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Conveniently located near local attractions like the Saltram House, Dartmoor National Park, the Eden Project, the famous Plymouth Hoe, and Barbican (with the Plymouth Steps), the Novotel Plymouth has a welcoming feel that is all too rare these days.
Sleeping rooms come with either two double beds, two queens, or one king bed, a sofa sleeper, color television, trouser press, and tea/coffee service. Other furnishings like a writing desk and extra lamps really show Novotels commitment to guest comfort and service.
The breakfast and dinner buffets are incredible. For breakfast, expect to find at least two dozen selections of hot food, fruit, breads, yogurts, and other morning delicacies. For dinner, the hotel prides themselves on their 50-piece salad bar and delicious, authentic English selections. But make sure you save room for afterwards, since there is usually ten dolce deserts for you to try.
During the warmer months, enjoy the outdoor pool. Or, visit one of their kiosk internet computers to check your email.
My only true complain about this hotel is the open bar, which allows smoking. Since smoke rises, some of the sleeping rooms have taken on that stale smoke smell that not even air fresheners or perfume sprays can fully disintegrate.
