The Novotel is conveniently located in the center of the theater district, overlooking Times Square and within walking distance of Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue shopping. The rooms are all soundproofed here and have spacious bathrooms with European amenities. The restaurant and bar in the hotel both seem fine but there are so many other places to eat nearby that I didn't try them out. The tourist information desk in the hotel is quite useful and the consierge are well informed too. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. A great location with loads of nice deli's and restaurants just outside.

The international clientele is inspiring and interesting. I always have a chance to visit with many foreigners visiting the city. It's an interesting place to be. The balcony is a safe place to interact with others.

76 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
It was ideally suited to watch the Macy Parade, close to shopping, good restaurants and shows. Except for the room heating problem, it was an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to others.
