The Novotel is conveniently located in the center of the theater district, overlooking Times Square and within walking distance of Central Park, the Empire State Building, the Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue shopping. The rooms are all soundproofed here and have spacious bathrooms with European amenities. The restaurant and bar in the hotel both seem fine but there are so many other places to eat nearby that I didn't try them out. The tourist information desk in the hotel is quite useful and the consierge are well informed too. The staff are all welcoming and friendly. A great location with loads of nice deli's and restaurants just outside.

Modern, clean, nice touches like wood floors in bathroom, lobby on 7th floor with nice outside view, clean, rooms comfortable.Could not get the room temperature below 74 with windows open and heat off. A lot of people smoke in rooms and smoke seeps...
