Our 4 day, 3 night ski vacation should have been a dream...The Northwoods Inn turned it into a nightmare. The hotel was built in 1926 which means they have had 83 years to at least touch up the paint but seem to prefer filthy, decrepit rooms with 3

We were a bit skeptical based on reviews we read... however, we were pleasantly surprised at the very nice accommodations. The hotel is centrally located and this was a major factor for us. We had a lovely view of the street and lake and mountains beyond. The room was very clean and nicely furnished with tempur-pedic beds! It was the best rate we found and was able to accommodate our request for one night stay only - many area motels required a 2 night minimum. The restaurant served a great breakfast at a good price and was nicely decorated! We are already planning out trip to the Northwoods Inn for next November! A+ from us!
I stayed at the Northwoods Inn in August and it was perfect in the fact it was in the heart of the Village and you could walk everwhere. The resturaunt was wonderful and the service exceptional. The room left alot to be desired, although clean and...

Called in advance, they had no record of me at check-in. Quoted 79.00 per. Stayed 2 nights. Paid bill which was under 190.00.When I received my credit card statement, they charged me twice, for a total of 303.00. Will not return my calls for an explanation. Very unprofessional.

As a part of the Summitt Lacrosse Tournament, Ohio Wesleyan University had a group of alumni who stayed at the Northwoods. We were in lovely suites, which had recently been renovated, on the sixth floor. The view was spectacular, and we had all the...

The staff was really friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The Inn is right on main street, and you're able to walk out right to the shops, the park is close by to hang by Mirror Lake, and you can walk to most places in town! Convenient, and economical as well.
I'd recommend it, and it's a good value for what you pay.
