This place was hoping from 1992 until 1996 when the past owner had to leave due to a death in the family. They used to serve 2 meals a day with great breakfast and dinner. The fire was always going and everybody was having fun. The place was packed ...

excellent homey experience. We stayed at the northern star inn for a weekend and greatly enjoyed every aspect. Its not a fancy hotel, but very homey, clean, comfortable and relaxing. the hosts were very accomodating with our special requests and really tried to please us. Its on a quiet side street and you can relax on the porch overlooking a neat lawn, or inside on one of the couches. I definitely recommend it for a budget minded homey, country like experience. I would definitely go there again!
I am very likely
to return to the Northern Star Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Awful. Rude and unhelpful owners and simply not upto mordern standards. The images of this hotel must have been taken a few years ago as it is not like that now. Dirty, smelly, damp. Stayed one night and fled.
great place to go and just spend time with each other. The staff leaves you alone but are more than willing to help if needed and are always available.
