I have never been so disappointed with the way someone ran a business IN MY LIFE. First of all, they only care about the money you are paying them, not about the purpose of your visit. I planned to have a wedding there, sent out invitations and had
This is basic Super 8 or Motel 6 in a log cabin with cheap fixtures in the bath that is closet sized. Not particularly clean and in fact the carpet was gritty and dirty- maybe a nice wood floor with a few area rugs would be nicer! Wear slippers! Ma

I travel for my work and spend over 200 nights a year in motels/hotels and similar accommodations. Of all the places I have stayed, and this includes everything from five star inns to no-star dives, the North Forty remains very high on my list of favorite places. Since my stay, I have sent friends and family to this resort, and all have reported wonderful stays. The cabins are very clean, well furnished and well maintained. The owners and staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating to last minute changes of plans. The location cannot be beat close to everything, but also quieter than down town Whitefish. Simply, a superb accommodation for anyone.

My work takes me to the Whitefish area periodically, and on my last two trips I have stayed at the North Forty Resort. The cabins are clean, and give me the privacy I need to get some work done and also relax. The resort fells like it is way out in the woods, but its only a few minutes from town. If you want something more quaint and private than a room in a big hotel, I highly suggest the North Forty Resort.

We visit the North Forty every summer and have a wonderful time. The private cabins are clean and well kept. After a full day of golf or playing on the lake, we enjoy kicking back in the hot tub and sauna with a cocktail. The cabins are located close to everything. It is a small family run business, and we have always found them to be very accommodating. With good privacy and a great location, its the best place to stay in the valley!
Very charming cabins but on a main road with lots of traffic noise. It was 95 and 100 degrees when we were there and no air cond. or pool. They were situated among trees and I suppose if you had the cabin the farthest away from the road it would...

We paid for 11 nights up front, but due to an illness in the family we had to change our reservations three times. As we were only able to stay for 4 days, we asked if we could book the remaining days but the new owner informed us that because we changed our minds so many times before that they would not let us change the remaining dates. And for us to get our money back we have to have a check sent to us, when and if the bookkeeper arrives.
I have been to the North Forty in Whitefish several times. It is made up of charming private cabins nestled in the woods. The clean, quiet cabins, and family owned/operated friendly service keeps me coming back. If they have cabins available, this...
Our Family owns a resort in Saskatchewan. We've checked out resorts all over Western Canada and the Northwestern States - this is our favorite - it inspires us. We first stayed at North Forty in 1995 when it first opened - we will return when...
