Arrived with prepaid reservation for 4 nights. On the way to our room, we noticed what appeared to be broken auto glass in one of the parking spaces. The first room we were given smelled as if a pack of wild dogs had been staying there for a month. The second room we were given was fine - meaning it did not smell. The second day our room was not serviced by housekeeping, though we were assured that it had been - according to their list being checked off. The moring of the fourth day we awoke to find that our vehicle had been broken into, and various valuables and personal items had been stolen from inside. NOTE WEll: THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS IN USE HERE OTHER THAN INSIDE THE LOBBY. They have a roaming secuirty guard at night who apparently cannot see someone breaking into a car. AS USUAL THE HOTEL ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCIDENTS LIKE THIS - THOUGH THEY GIVE YOU A "COURTESY CALL" TO SAY HOW SORRY THEY ARE - HOWEVER WE WANT YOU TO KNOW E ARE IN NO WAY LIABLE - PARKING IS "AT YOUR OWN RISK" (though in no place is that posted. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!

to choose from. Was quite a drive from historic district. Motel was just "ok", but with so many choices, probably would select a different motel next...

The Red Roof Inn hotel was more than adequate, especially for the price. The location was good and I was provided good advice for tourists. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a positive experience.
I am very likely
to return to the Red Roof Inn North Charleston Coliseum.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
pros: Nice, clean place to sleep and shower near CharlestonAfter hearing about North Charleston from friends that had lived in the area, I was a little scared. My boyfriend and I would rather spend our vacation dollars on good food than on a hotel...
