Mediocre
Good location, but marginal room. Bed like a brick and could hear the "neighbors". Furniture older and scratched up. The price was good for the area, but my back wasn't happy....

The hotel has a very good location, one block from the beach and among shops. I have stayed there before so I knew what to expect. My advice is to ask for cottage rooms.

We travel to Carmel twice a year and we always stay at the Normandy Inn.
We had a large fireplace room, it’s in a great location on Ocean Ave., it’s near everything. Ask questions when it comes to restaurants, attractions, etc. I would never stay anywhere else. They have great service, you won't be sorry

My daughter and I were lucky enough to stumble across this terrific place in Jan 06 and found it just the best spot....close to the centre of town, walk to the beach and offering the most comfortable beds we found in the states.
