Parking was a problem. The hotel needs more easy access parking but the location is very convenient. Be aware of road closures in downtown for construction.

The Marriott Waterside was a nice hotel. It was in walking distance to other restaurants and shops. The restaurant at the Marriott was mediocre at best. Some rooms had nice views of the river, others had bad industrial views, like ours.
This Marriott made me feel sensible because there was nothing special about it. The hotel provided me with what I needed in a quick and clean fashion.

I attended a convention with exhibits. The hotel was able to provide space for these, so the entire four-day convention was under one roof which made it very nice. The lounge and bar was a disappointment, as were the in-house restaurants, slow, poor service at breakfast, slow service at lunch. I requested three rooms, two of which were connecting because of children involved. The lady was most kind and helpful and, upon arrival, all was in order. Overall, I would rate the hotel above average.
The room was well appointed. The windows were large and, therefore, well lit. The furniture was very comfortable. The room was quiet, thereby lending itself to comfort and a peaceful feeling.

Horrible
When I pulled up to the hotel, I saw a guest get mugged infront of the hotel. There is NO parking close to the hotel and the property smells of mold as soon as you enter it.
