A smoke alarm went off on the 3rd floor and we were on the 22nd floor. We had no warning to get out of the building or no phone call. I was concerned to find out that the alarms do not go off on your floor unless the fire is on you floor.

Marriott has a consistent record. You know what you are getting when you make a reservation - a good room and not a lot of frills (that usually means hidden cost).
The beds are decently comfortable (not like home, but comfortable). The room were rather quiet.
