Smiles greeted us as we walked in the door after driving past a majestic log building with beautiful Japanese cherry trees in full bloom. We were taken on what the manager called a "walk-a-bout tour and asked if we needed any assistance with planni

Excellent

We arrived and were greeted with a huge smile, proceeded to walk about the beautiful grounds that surround the Lodge, were escorted on a "walk about tour" of the game room, fitness room, jacuzzi tub, pool, grills and picnic areas (3) hiking trails and in the winter snowmobile trails, then led into our room with a deep jacuzzi tub ( big enough for two), an easy chair, wireless internet, cable tv with HBO, table and chairs, large enough for a long stay. We spent our days touring the White Mountains after many helpful suggestions by the staff on where to go. They even gave us printed step by step directions for each of our destinations and asked us to call if we got lost.

thank you Nootka Lodge, we will be returning.

A Home Away From Home – Posted Sep 03, 2007

Excellent
56 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

For the first time in many years I found a place I can call my home away from home. The staff are more than accomodating, the rooms cleaner than my own home, the grounds manicured yet cozy. There are several areas to have cook outs with your family, a game room to enjoy down time with friends and family, a hot tub to relax in and trails to hike. All of this and close to the White Mountain Attractions. What more could someone want.

I reccommend this Lodge highly to anyone, just make your desires known and they try their best to accomodate. I have not been let down yet and have been staying there off and on for 17 years.

Don't make reservations here! – Posted Sep 02, 2007

Horrible
52 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I made reservations numerous weeks in advance for a mini family reunion. Three days before our departure I was called and informed that the two rooms I wanted were no longer available, but that had a single room that would work out better. When I arrived I find the room has one king size bed and two futons. The people knew that in addition to myself and my husband the other room was for my 84 year old father. Can you imagine an 84 year old man sleeping on a futon! No other rooms were available and I had to spend all night driving back home. If you need a guaranteed room, don't book here!

Good

This is a nice, clean, little motel. It has easy access to White Mountains, Vermont. They were friendly, courteous, and accommodating.
