I am really surprised to see the negative reviews on this page. I have checked other reviews and they were much more positive. I initially reserved a 2 day stay at the hotel and then signed on for another three days because I was very pleased with the lodgings and the friendly staff. Though some rooms are small(there are larger rooms available for a higher fee) the rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The nob hill location is also ideal in that you can essentially catch a cab anywhere in the city for 6 bucks from this central location. If you enjoy walking(which is a great way to see the city) nob hill is a good starting point because of its central location. I also like the fresh fruit salad that was available as part of the complimentary breakfast. All in all a wonderful experience. I travel often and stay at many different hotels and I would say that this hotel offers an excellent alternative to highly priced larger hotels and really should be rated higher than three stars.
