Our first experience with the Inn was wonderful--our dinner was excellent as well as the service. However, our second experience was truely a night I would like to forget. We arrived for dinner at 6:30 pm and seated next to an extremely noisy family. (this was an anniversary dinner and were told this when the reservations were made). We order our usual bottle of wine and the cheese app's--these both were lovely. Our dinners were less than wonderful, my tenderloin was done extremely well for my taste--even after I gave them instructions of how rare I truely need to have this cooked, my spouse's porkchop was so salty it was difficult to even swallow. I sent my steak back....which was promptly brought back and told it is rare and this was the way there were going to serve it. Nice huh? After I asked them to take it away I would not be eating it, they still charged us for it. We will not be back nor will we ever recommend them to anyone. The horridly rude service was intollerable, and which brought me to tears with being bullied by the less than refined "host".

The Inn was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed there. I was not disappointed. The staff informed me that it had been newly restored and the changes were great. The entire Inn from the rooms to the restaurant evokes a cozy, inviting feeling. It is close to downtown, but tucked away enough to feel like you are in another world. The rooms offered modern touches like Sleep Number Beds and Plasma TVs, but felt like an escape from modern day chaos.
I was especially impressed with dinner. I had the Maple Glazed Salmon and it was fantastic! I would definitely stay here again.
It was magical!!!! It was very romantic....and wonderfully decorated. The service was superb...and the meal was fantastic!!!Having our own waiter whose attention was totally on use added to the experience. We will come back again and...
