Horrible
We have stayed at this hotel several times and usually enjoy our stay, but this last visit I woke up the next morning with bites all over my hands and arms. Called houskeeping, they took a report. We checked out and drove back to Tampa, I went to...

We had people of all ages. 4 children and 6 adults. We had three rooms. They rooms were plenty big, each hotel room has two bedrooms and a living room. The rooms weren't highly "decorated" as advertised. There is a simple character in the living room that's quite scary in the middle of the night when you forget it's there. The kids room was kind of small and cramped, and not very luxurious. The pool was having to be stopped every hour to clean out someone's poop. The exterior wasn't exactly the most pleasant thing. But yes, the kids did have fun. We, however, felt that we paid a bit much for the surroundings that we got. It wasn't a problem until we saw that we were paying for a Holiday Inn with the occasional nick toon painted on it. I would not go again.

A slime a minute, yeah right. The room rates are acceptable for larger parties. We paid $320 per night for a 3-bedroom suite for 4 adults and 2 children (6 and 4). The rooms are spacious, but the overall experience was not as advertised. The swimming and water slides are fun, but you better be prepared to have this be the focal point of your time at the Nick Hotel. The characters are not available for children very often and many of the character experiences are an additional charge for both the child and a parent who must attend. In addition, the hotel food is horrible unless you like eating A&W, Subway or Pizza Hut. My family of four will not be returning to this hotel. My recommendation is to do more homework before staying here. Get the exact costs up front in writing. They will tell you that everything is free.
