I liked that it offered a discount to the college faculty. The location is perfect for commuting to the campus. It has a small refrigerator and a microwave.

The room was very dirty. There was a piece of chewed gum on the wall. The shower was also dirty. The staff were nice but the room was poor. I guess you pay for what you get.

I called this place and had a room reserved a few weeks before the Omak Stampede. I was thinking it might be a dive, what I got was far more than I expected. No pool, but it is 2-3 blocks from a Wal-Mart and JC Penny’s. I liked that as I also was not too far from the Omak grounds. I had three queen size beds and stayed the two best nights of my vacation here, as it was the best bang for my buck. I really had no problems with anything here. The place was clean, and the size of room was a fair size. The air conditioning was excellent and kept me cool when the sun was scorching. The staff was cool too. I have already recommended them to my friends who usually stay at the Okanogan.

It may not have a pool, and I did miss that a bit in the heat, but the Nicholas Motel is very clean and quiet, with a very comfortable mattress (and I have a terrible back) and the owners and staff are professional and quite helpful. This is the best value in Omak, by far!
