New York's Hotel Pennsylvania

Had some misgivings after booking, but this hotel was perfectly adequate. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Excellent location! Found bed a bit uncomfortable, but did this not matter because not too much time was spent in the room.

Brought a group of 250 students to NYC to perform at Lincoln Center. Stayed at the Hotel Pennsylvania since the price was so cheap and it's so close to Times Square.

Some of the rooms were fantastic and huge, while others were small, dark and dingy. But it was not anything like many of the reviews I read on the internet, which essentially condemned the place. It is fine, especially considering you only spend about 6 hours in your room the entire day.

The staff was very helpful and the bell service was really great in helping load and unload our six motor-coaches.

I recommend this place for groups traveling on a limited budget.

couldn't be in a better location. we stayed as a family of 5.1 double / 1 triple rooms, hotel had most things that you would need, can walk to most places of interest. staff very helpful and polite we would use this hotel again ( already booking for nov 2008)

Simply - don't go! Dirty rooms, disgraceful staff attitude, very poor value for money. This is honestly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in (even after 'upgrading' to a premium rate room). My stay was from 12 to14 October, such a shame - it spoiled a first visit to New York.

Great hotel , I love it !!

Every year i go for my vacation to Manhattan , and every year i stay in this great hotel.

The rooms are big and clean .

Every day the clean up your room , and give new towels.

The people the work there are very very nice and helpful.

I love the location of the hotel , a second walk to ESB , macys , Manhattan Mall , Madison Square Garden , Central park walk in 20 min , Broadway/ Times square walk in 15 min.

I love it

In two weeks i go back to this great Pennsylvania hotel for the 6 time.
