30 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel was definitely very nice with direct access to the casino. it also has some nice restaurants in it. The room was nice but the connecting door to the next door room produced a lot of noise. Could literally hear the conversations of the neighbours.
male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I reserved my room on their site a month in advance. To avoid any problems and to make sure to get a good rate for the 3 nights. I was double booked and moved a floor up to the 26 floor. On the 3rd night locked-out. Front desk only had two nights and not the three. The pool area is very small. Fills up early. The slots at the NEW YORK NEW YORK don't like to have winners. The cleaning staff great. Expect alot of things to go wrong with your stay. Staff at front desk have no clue so be prepare!!
On the positive side, it's on the end of the south side of the strip, good for walking or you can go on the duce buse and travel up and down the strip for $7.00. Rooms are big. Bathroom and room clean thanks to the maids. The view great. Could see the Mgm and excaliber. The new York hotel is for children. Adult atmosphere. At ckeckout you will get one price but when I got home checked my statement and was charged more. Not for the family. Stayed from 8/2/09 to 8/4/09. will not come back.
