My partner and I stayed there this week, after booking online. It is centrally located, but they misrepresented what they offer.
There was no wireless internet, and their "Business Center" was a closet with an ancient HP computer that also had no internet access.
We had to switch rooms upon turning down the sheets and finding curly hairs and stains from the previous inhabitants. The jury's still out as to whether they gave us bedbugs or worse from those filthy sheets. Although they let us switch rooms when it became clear that they never changed the sheets between guests in our initially assigned room, they didn't offer even an apology, nevermind some sort of compensation/discount for our hassle of having to move rooms at midnight.
Their glasses and mugs ranged from stained to unwashed in both rooms - you could see the rings, mid-mug, from where the last user stopped drinking their coffee, and lipstick stains on the glasses. We had to bring all beverages in containers from outside.
The ice machine was broken and the soda machine (the floor's only vending machine) wouldn't take dollar bills. I had to take the elevator to another floor to get a bottle of water.
They have signs indicating guests are not allowed to use stairs between floors unless there's an emergency (e.g. a fire), which I found sketchy. Why force people to use the elevator to go up or down one floor?
One of the three light bulbs in the first room was burned out (a bedside reading lamp bulb) - when I went to the desk with the dead one and asked for a fresh bulb it took 20 minutes of waiting in the lobby for a staff member (who had no other tasks, who had no one else to tend to - another staffer was working the phones and check-ins) to find one. After that, we found out about the sheets.
They advertised as having a bar, but they don't. They advertised as having a restaurant; at the desk they said it was only for breakfast, and at breakfast it was closed. I have no idea whether they really have a pool, but I'm skeptical given the rest of our experience there.
I've stayed in $40/night motels that were nicer than this. I never write reviews, but decided to start now to warn people away from this hole.
Ignore me if you like filth. Pay attention and book elsewhere if you don't want bugs nesting under your skin, unwashed dishes and used emery boards and soaps in your room, and other people's stains on your bed. Seriously, this place is unsanitary. The city's health department should close it down, pronto.
