If you travel to the dells you know its usually hit or miss with hotels. We came to the Concord after spending a night in a really gross hotel. We were so relieved! Everything was clean and simple. It was the right price. Nice indoor pool.

I agree very much with the other review. It's a clean budget hotel, and better than a Holiday Inn.
The rooms were fine for sleeping. We watched a little TV but who wants to be in a room when you're on vacation?
The pools are good but if you want a water park, go to one of the resorts. Technically their pool is classified as a water park (I asked the manager.) I think the kiddie area is good to consider as a kiddie water park, it's like a playground in a pool, its good for 8 and under.
Overall, this place was really nice because it didnt break the bank, was clean, cozy, and close to everything. It's right across from Robot World. The kids loved it!

I had to write a review because I really think it is unfair that someone else gave this hotel just one star, it definitely does not deserve it and is misleading. You might miss out on a great stay because of it.
The only reason I can assume that person gave it just one star was probably that he or she was expecting one of those mega-indoor-water parks (though he/she was paying less than $100 a night) and instead found a "kiddie pool". That is actually in part the hotels fault, but a little research would have shown the truth.
In my case, I was not even looking to stay in a water park, I had just been to Six Flags the week before and was pretty tired of slides, long lines and crowds. I actually wanted to stay in a Holiday Inn or something similar; I didn't want to pay too much for a clean hotel, and that is what I got.
I ran across this hotel listing, checked the description and called the hotel without checking the reviews. I had already given my credit card and made the reservations when I saw the one star. At first I was very disappointed, but I thought "it is cheaper than a Holiday inn, has a pool with slides for the kids and is really close to all the places I want to go".
Here is what it comes down to:
The good: This hotel is much cleaner than any hotel I have been to in the last three years, including $300/night hotels. I don't know if it was just painted of what, but no complaints there. It is also very cute; the outdoor pool has some huge colorful umbrellas that I have seen nowhere else. Space is not a problem, the rooms are big enough. It has a tiny fridge and a microwave, but the great thing is that there is a Subways right next door and even better, a convenience store right beside that where I got myself some excellent beer after an afternoon of taking care of the kids at the pool. I think they also have some agreements with a water park, for those who really think that is what it is all about, but I was not interested, and if you are, stay elsewhere.
The Bad: Well, my TV was out of focus when I got in the room, so I went to the front desk and got a small screwdriver and fixed it myself (do not attempt if you have no idea of what to do). There was no shampoo and the soap was running out. The towels were kind of hard. That's it, everything else was just great. The only other complaint I would have is their claim to a "water park", they do not have one, only two small pools indoor, two small pools outdoor and some fun slides for kids under 10.
Basically it comes down to: It is better than staying at a Holiday Inn, way better. The kids have more to do, it is cheaper, you can buy your beer at normal prices, it is close to everything and it is much cleaner; so whatever you give the Holiday Inn, you can not give this hotel less. Its definitely not 1 star. My three year old son still asks me to go back to the hotel.
