My husband and I stayed for two nights (not our choice, our employer did this through Expedia and paid an outrageous $150 per night + tax ($168). The hotel room is small and smells, HBO (Human Body Odor). The air-condition temperature was controlled by the manager. We came back on Friday evening after working in a trade show to find that the motel room temperature to be warm. I asked the manager to turn the climate control up; she told me that the temperature is already on high. Told her this is ridiculous because it feels like 90 degrees inside the room. The manager then told me to leave instead of trying to solve the problem. The same night we looked at our bed sheets and found dirt and/or little dead bugs and human hair. Since it was midnight and the managers office was closed, at this time, we decided to bring this to the managers attention next morning. We went to sleep in our clothes lying on top of the bed spread. At 10:20 the following morning we informed the manager of what we saw. She took a short tone with us and told us that she wanted us out in 5 minutes and that she would charge us the full 2 days even if we get out before checkout time (11:00 AM) at the end of the first days stay. This is plain thievery and so we insisted that the manager put this in writing, which she did not. So we took two sheets from the maids cart and changed the linens ourselves. Then we went and bought a large can of Lysol and sprayed down every surface in the room which helped somewhat with the order.
I would never stay at this motel if this was a personal vacation and employer should never book their employees here. For $150/night, there are better choices elsewhere. The room was filthy and smelly. The bed-sheet was dirty and the manager was rude and scheming; attempting to cheat us out of what was paid for because of the mere voicing of a valid complaint pertaining to odor in the room and hair and bugs in the bed. This is THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN and I wouldnt recommend it, except to someone that I didnt like.

The hotel is very average. I had booked 5 rooms for 5 couples for 1 night. All 5 parties occupied the rooms, and we all paid separately for 1 night on our credit cards. When I received my statement from the credit card company I was charged for 3...

Its a great value and well located. The room was attractively decorated, and the carpet, walls, sheets, and bedspread were clean and spotless. The continental breakfast offered pastries, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, juice, and coffee. They also had free high-speed internet.

This hotel is o.k if you don't like to control the temperature in your room. It was about 90 degrees in our room and the temp is controlled by the front desk. When asked what I could do if I was unhappy with my room I was told I could leave....

The room was absolutely filthy, it had stained sheets, blankets, and mattresses. Not only was it dirty, there were several other problems as well, including a flea infestation. When the management was notified about the problems, they accused me of making everything up, and yelled at me in the middle of the lobby in front of the other customers!
The Redwood Inn, Room 102 to be exact, has a FLEA PROBLEM! Staff were very snippy about this when told about it, took $10.00 off the room, and didn't even apologize. When a motel accepts dogs, Cleanliness should be a priority but it apparently ...
