I love the Napa River Inn. It is in downtown Napa, and it an historic site, an old mill converted into an inn with a pastry shop, several restaurants, and so on. It is located right on the river, and I love everything about it. The rooms are all...

42 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed here for 2 nights in early November, 2007. The inn is located in downtown Napa, a short drive from wine country. It is set in a historic mill next to the river and many rooms have a river view. It may not be the typical Napa Valley experience, but it has a lot to offer.
Rooms were well decorated and offered plenty of comfort. Our favorite spot was Sweetie Pie's Bakery next door, which provided breakfast for guests. They make an incredible brioche!
Unfortunately, construction was going on next door while we were there and the management seemed unsympathetic. Other than this it was a great stay, downtown Napa is homey and historic with several interesting restaurants and shops.
This is a great location! I called on a whim and they had a room and even upgraded us to a view with free breakfast and wine coupons! It was so nice we had to stay another night. I highly recomend it! The town is within walking distance and easy to...

This is a charming hotel in a converted warehouse which is listed on the registry of preserved buildings. We have stayed there before and we will stay again.
I am very likely
to return to the Napa River Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
