My wife and i spent 3 marvelous days in this most charming city. sofitel brugge is what you need for your stay there. overall the hotel is very charming with touches of luxury all over. the lobby is large but very cozy with antiqued style furnishings. there is a small but very beautiful bar with fireplace for evening drinks (the only smoking area in the hotel) and a fairly large restaurant with gourmet cuisine and fine decoration. there is an indoor swimming pool next to the reception. the rooms are very welcoming. decoration again is superb. there is a well stocked mini bar and a t.v set. in room amenities include bathrobes and slippers. soundproof is o.k. the bed and the pillows are very comfortable with high quality linen. it is located steps away from historical city center and 10 min. walking at the most from the railway station.
generally it is a superb hotel in my opinion the best choice we could find in brugge.
