My stay at Mystic Dunes was not that nice. I had a 3 bed room unit and the stoves in both units didn't work right you could only cook on one side. The TV in the second room didn't work the DVD player in the living room didn't work. We could use the pull out sofa in the 3rd bedroom room because the mattress was no good u could feel the springs when you lay down on it. We filed a maintenance report both or course it was never taken care of. I know that the TV & DVD was luxury items but the point is I paid my money and they were trying to get us to purchase and they wouldn't even take care of our problem.

We were told at a tourist ticket booth to try the timeshare tour that it was only an hour and a half long. We are in our late fifties and never had done this before. We were told that we would receive free tickets to seaworld if we did this. Well we

Okay
The condos are very large and the master bath is HUGE. The kitchen is nice. Room service is crazy expensive. Save your money and buy you own food. These are time shares.

Okay
These are time shares. If you want to rent a condo it's pretty expensive. But you do have a kitchen and laundry which is nice. If your willing to sit through a time share promo you can get the rooms for much cheaper.

My husband and I were talked into doing a 90 minute presentation in return for discounted Sea World tickets. After arriving at 7:30 am for breakfast, we waited for thirty minutes to eat. The breakfast was not good. Our guide, Max, sat and ate with us. He promised that after the presentation he would not hassle us if we chose not to purchase. Yeah right! After he went through the whole spill and took us on a tour, he wouldn't take no for an answer. Our whole purpose was to get the discounted tickets, not to buy a timeshare. He kept saying that we were "making excuses, and the time to buy was now." He even went and got his manager to come over to try to talk us into it, but like we said, we were not interested and we could not afford it. He even went as far as to tell us to put it on a credit card. He said that now was the perfect time to buy since we were recently married with no children. Hello, we have student loans and a mortgage! When the manager left, he began telling us a story. Here is what he said, "You two remind me of a college class I was in. There were three guys in the class, and they missed the test and asked for a remake. The professor said okay, one more chance. The next scheduled remake test, they missed it again due to a flat tire. They begged one more chance, one more chance... The professor agreed. He placed the three students in different classrooms and asked them one question on the test. Which tire was flat?" My husband was totally insulted and informed the guy that he was. He just got up and walked off. It probably was for the best, because I was ticked off also. We finally got out of there at around 11:00 am. I will never go to a timeshare presentation again!

My wife and I where on our Honey moon and we where looking for a place to stay close to Disney but not in the park. We found Mystic Goons on Expedia.com. The listing said close to disney Parks, Hot tub in villa and shuttle service. We thought hey great. When we went to check in it was like pulling into a apartment complex. The did have a shuttle but it left at 8:30am and 10:30am. But you had to be picked up at 5pm. ( who wants to go to Disney for a few hours) I will say one nice thing about Mystic Dunes, the best view of the place is the view of you leaving it.

I had went there for a presentation, and sure the place was nice, think about how un-safe it is for children. In the rooms are glass tables, with mirrors in everyroom, ceiling high. The chairs are metal, and the floor are tile. They say that this is a family oriented place to stay, I say they are wrong.
I had told this to the prenentation man who was helping us, and I he had said he had heard a lot of things but this is not one of them. He had told me that I was lying and that it couldn't be possible. He said I was just saying that to not make him feel bad, when that was not my purpose. However, it should make him feel bad since he was the one working for a place like this.
They brag about how big they're golf course is and how wonderful they're rooms are, but they're rooms are dangerous, and whats more, its like you are living on the course! I would feel scared to sit byt he window, afraid that a ball might come flyinging in to hit me square on the face!
I also think it is a hastle to just get to the entrance, this way and that, its like a maze.
The man who had helped me also said that they're goal is to make sure that your stay would be spectacular, and that everyone goes on vacation to have fun and relax. Relaxing is true, but why would you go on vacation just to stay at a resort. I went to Orlando to go to the amusement parks and to see the sights, not to sit in my room the whole day, everyday.
When I had declined the man, I went to the gift area, and the woman was so RUDE! I have never been so ill treated in my life.

Upon arrival:
Room was dirty
Trash present from prior guests
Replacement coffee carafe didnt fit maker (couldnt make coffee)
There were no sheets or pillows for pullout
They didnt supply enough towels for 4 people
Refrigerator was warm, moldy and had a massive leak on floor
Used soap present in bathroom
Two non-working lamps; one in bedroom, one in living room.
During Stay:
They dont do any cleaning, bed-making, etc. during your stay. (I dont think they do it afterward either!) They claim they are a resort not a hotel so they dont do that stuff.
They wont give you extra towels; you need to wash the ones they start you with.
They dont supply any toiletries other than soap. (Once again they claim they are a resort.)
Cockroaches in kitchen and bedroom (killed one on whirlpool bath while bathing- UGH!)
Armed Disturbance in next building (as in gunshots- and when I tried calling operator to see if it was safe to go back to my building #22 from another I was in #17 when the helicopter started searching for the armed assailant- the phone wouldnt connect.) The sheriffs stormed the next building with rifles drawn. Very scary. Then they tried to say it didnt happen. I called the sheriffs department to find out what really happened.
90 minute timeshare presentation lasted 2 hours and 48 minutes (despite us telling them we needed to get back to our children, one of whom had broken his collarbone just days earlier.)
Leaf Blower woke us between 7-8 am EVERY morning
Upon Checkout:
Was told they couldnt print a receipt for me
Was told they would email and fax a receipt (still have not received one 4 days & 2 phone calls later)
Was told there was NO gunfire on the evening of the 20th (did they think the sheriffs office wouldnt tell people what happened? Plus my husband watched the deputies go through the building with drawn rifles and we saw the people leave on stretchers and the cops look for the bullet casings.)
