Murray Hill Inn

Worst hotel we've ever stayed at in New York. No elevator, no hot water, had to beg for towels, missing knobs on furniture replaced with string, no toilet paper roll dispenser. Wanted to leave 2 seconds after seeing the place, but credit card would have been charged. STAY AWAY!

It's a perfect place for weekend vacation in the Big Apple.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was not working, but we asked them to fix it and as it seemed that it will take longer to be fixed, they gave us another room. Then we needed help where to go for the night, we were not very familiar with New York and we needed some direction. Again, the people at the reception gave us a few ideas and we had great time.

Really, the hotel is not a 5-star one, but the service surely is 5+.

Our room was pretty cool, we had a double bed one with orange walls and I loved it. Orange gives me more energy and power.

The first night I was so exhausted that I fell asleep while watching the TV and I woke up at 3. The next morning we had to wake up early and I called the receptionist. Poor guy, I believe that he was feeling pretty sleepy too but he promised to wake me up at 7 and actually he did it, at 7 sharp.

I received a very good offer from a hotel in the heart of Manhattan. The room had internet access and that was a really pleasant surprise. You will appreciate it if you value your money and you come to the city for business.
