The staff and service was great, the town is adorable, there was so much to do. The guests staying there said the food was great so we tried it the following night and it was amazing! Great service, they were always willing to go above and beyond...

We went up for a weekend trip to get away from it all and it was perfect. The staff were helpful, friendly and full of great suggestions. We had a romantic candlelite dinner and the food was great. My hubby even surprised me with champagne and flowers in the room just before our arrival! We booked another vacation in the near future because everything was so great.

I stayed at the Murphys Historic Hotel in one of their Historic rooms, it was one of the best stays I have had in a hotel. All of the rooms are furnished in the 1800 time period antiques. And to top it off the showers and bathrooms are shard and down the hall just as they were in the 1800's. All of the 9 Historic rooms are named after someone famous that has stayed in them, ex: Ulysses S. Grant, Mark Twain, Daniel Webster and many more. My experience with Murphys Hotel was wonderful. Not to mention that all of the staff there is so friendly and helpful.
