We stayed there in August08. I was really happy the staff was wonderful very friendly. And such a cheap price and soo close to downtown. Just a skip and jump and you are looking at the Aquarium its just close enough for a short walk and peaceful cause your not on the main strip. It took us like 5 mins to walk to Aquarium. We stayed 3 days and it was only 160 bucks I am very happy and will stay there again.

My wife and I first stayed at the Mountain House Inn in November 2006. we found many coupons for different motels and were suprised at the location and rates for this one. Everything is within walking distance and the parking is free. We spent 3 nights there and wanted to stay more but they were booked up.
Last year we reserved ahead of time and spent the whole week there. We normally travel there in November for the Winterfest but this year we are going in September.
I know that some have really bashed this place but if it stays booked up all the time how can it be so bad!
