I was looking for something different and Mountain Brook had it...like in grandmother's time. Quaint little housekeeping cottages sprinkled up the hillside with lots of big trees and brooks. Grounds included jacuzzi and sauna, nature trail and trout pond. Front porches and swings to sit and appreciate nature with no phones or tv's to bother us. Lots to do in the area when we wanted to venture out. Our first trip but won't be our last.

Good
This is the most peaceful place I've been, in a long time. The fresh air and sounds of the mountains where food for the soul. My grandchildren had the most fun catching the fish and the big boys had fun frying them. I of couse had fun eating them....
