Motel 6 Venice

I cherish my 2 weeks away from the cold north in February/March and don't want surprises. Their pool is excellent and the location is very handy. You can walk to several restaurants including the famous "Patches" for breakfast. For the price it is excellent. Tip: ask for upstairs in the back if you are a light sleeper.

When you want just somewhere to lay your head, swim in a warm pool and have a sense of safety, then I would say stay at Motel 6 from February until March or even part of April. The motel is full most of the time with snow birds from the North. This keeps out the problem people.

I felt my car was safe, nightly police checks, quiet, nice room, plenty of channels on the TV, close to eating spots, close to the beach and the city of Venice, only one street down and over the intercoastal waterway. Not too far away from the golf courses. It's not a bad place to stay.

I've been coming to Venice for six years in the winter and I always stay at Motel 6 in Venice. Their prices are a little high, but compared to every place else in Venice, this is the best bang for the buck.

Everything about my stay was fabulous. It was clean, quiet, comfortable and cheap!

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The front desk was very eager and ready to help us find locations in town and things to do. They told us where the ice, candy and soda machines were located. They were very warm and helpful.
