WE HAVE CHECKED IN WITH FAMILY AND STAFF TREATED US WITH GREAT GENEROSITY & RESPECTFULLY. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. ROOM WAS NICE, WE HATED TO LEAVE THE PLACE.
This place was hideous. The room was suppose to be non-smoking and you could smell the smoke along with other odors. I was afraid to walk on the floor barefooted due to stains everywhere. Didn't know a club was adjacent to the hotel therefore when I returned from my conference I had to park on the back end of the hotel when my room was in the front. Then not to mention Shenanah and Key Lo Lo and dem' cussing and fussing out front. The bathroom had flying bugs in it. Room service took forever to bring extra towels etc....and to top it off there was not elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs. This place should be inspected and restored or shut down. I SUGGEST IF YOU COME ACROSS THIS HOTEL DON'T STAY HERE EVER ! ! ! and if you do in the famous words of Madea's brother Joe "GET OUT" as fast as you can. It was a shame, just a shame.

Mediocre
Upon arrival, we attempted to check in. The front desk clerk was more interesting in entertaining a guy then checking in my family to our room. Additionally, she looked like she was dress for a night on the town instead of working in a...
We had a group of softball players in town for a tournament and had gotten a group rate for 2 separate weekends in June, 2007. One employee in particular has made our decision to never go back (these are 2 annual tournaments) to this hotel an easy...
The location of this hotel was terrific. However, based on the price per night I would definitely not go back. The bathroom was horrific. It was dirty and there were holes in the wall. The phone did not work in the room, there was no hair dryer...

I'm not sure how this hotel received such a good rating, because it was horrible! The stench of urine and body odor about knocked me over when I opened the door to my room. Then I noticed holes around the vanity, I could hear other guests talking through the bathroom vent. There was a big gash in the wall. There was a sheer curtain, that's it!
The keypad to the outside door must have been broken because the door was never locked! I checked out earlier than planned and went to another nearby hotel where the clerk informed me that about a year ago, the hotel clerk at Holiday Inn was shot & killed! Needless to say, I will not be returning. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone!
The hotel is under renovations, but the staff more than makes up for this with their willingness to make all their guest happy. My wife and I will be back to this location in the...
