This Motel 6 has recently completed its renovation as part of our plan to upgrade all our locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. There's no place like home, but the New Haven - Branford Motel 6 will feel like it! Located off of I-95 at exit #55, halfway between New York City and Boston, this motel features an on-site restaurant and complimentary coffee in the lobby. There are 2 casinos within 1 hour of the motel and Yale University is just 10 minutes away. Wi-Fi available in 25% of guest rooms for $2.99 per 24 hour use. There are no extras -- no coffee pot, no little shampoo containers, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. It would have been much nicer if there had been a thicker mattress pad - the bottom sheet and mattress pad were sliding around on the slippery mattress, and I had to get up and tuck in the corners in the middle of the night.

Entire motel, including hallways, stairwells and non-smoking rooms smell of smoke at all times.
Seals on doors are absent, allowing smoke from one room to fill all rooms. Service is spotty at best. Towels are worn. Good place to find hookers on Friday night.
