This Motel 6 has recently completed its renovation as part of our plan to upgrade all our locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Morro Bay Motel 6 is located in a small, quiet town just a short distance from restaurants on the bay, fishing boats and many small shops. This location is 15 minutes from CalPoly University and 30 minutes from beautiful Hearst Castle and San Simeon. There are also many fine wineries in the area which offer tours. Wi-Fi available in 25% of guest rooms for $2.99 per 24 hour use. Agent must note guests Wi-Fi request in the comments section as "Req Wi-Fi Room", this request cannot be guaranteed.

I loved the location and the fact my family would get an affordable room at the coast during the Labor Day weekend. We had a double/double room, there was only one towel and the toilet needed to be flushed 2-3 times to do it's job, but we did...
It has a great location, the only good thing. Staff was not friendly, in fact the housekeeping staff looked like a bunch meth freaks. Accidentally left a ring in the bathroom. Within 30 minutes the employees took it and claimed to not had seen it....

This motel is very basic. But, just what you're looking for if luxury is not an object. This is a comfortable place to stay after a day at the ocean and for a very reasonable price.
