Absolutely horrible place! I have been to A LOT of hotels, motels, resorts & this is by far the WORST! hey had 8 vans of magazine sales reps here & they get in at numerous times of the night! We was here on a Sat. w/ our kids & 2 shih tzu's & they put us on the 2nd floor, in front of the steps & they had these sales reps coming in even after 2 in the morning & they kept knocking on our door. We called to complain SEVERAL times & they did nothing. They told us they had 8 vans of magazine people living there & they get in anywhere from 8pm till 2 am. WOW! They was soooo noisy, they hung out, yelling, drinking, running & fighting all hours of the night. there was trash everywhere! I asked for a refund & they told me they can't do that & I need to call the MANAGER, well, I am going too! I will call my bank & cancel my debit! Oh & it was sooooo nasty inside & the floor was falling in throughout our whole room, we had a non-smoking room & it was smelled like smoke & musty. Also, very dirty, BOOGERS on the walls!! AWFUL!!!!

This hotel is not like those other hotel chains. This is family owned and the service is TOP NOTCH! I have stayed here twice when traveling to Fredericksburg. It just has a different feel, from room decor to service.

Keep driving. This is one of the worst motels I have ever stayed in. Rooms were not clean and smelled bad. Had to clean shower with bleach before using it. No fitted sheets for the beds. Definitely a shortage of linens and supplies. House keeping...
There are two things that are worth mentioning... Cocroaches that did not allow me to sleep calmly in my room and the 'continental breakfast' which is not there... It is of course included in the price but consists only of tee and coffee to be frank....
You won't get a ton of frills here, but the service is good, the rooms are nice and the rates are low. I'd recommend this place (as long as you don't need a pool or a gym - didn't matter to me).
