This Motel 6 has recently completed its renovation as part of our plan to upgrade all our locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Bakersfield Airport Motel 6 is located on State Route 99, just 20 minutes from the Famoso Drag Strip. This location features plenty of truck and trailer parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a guest laundry facility. The motel is also located within 3 miles of the airport and Buck Owens Crystal Palace. Wi-Fi available in 25% of guest rooms for $2.99 per 24 hour use. 35 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for business
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Easily worth the money. Only complaint was that I arrived at 4:30 p.m. and my room was not ready. Had to wait until it was cleaned after being told on phone that I could check in at anytime during day. Also, after taking all my luggage upstairs to room, room key wouldn't work. When calling desk, I had to bring all my stuff down to lobby and get key swiped again. Upon checking in, and problem with key, clerk at the desk was busy with personal phone call. But on bright side, that was only problems noted. Room had great heater. (It was so cold outside.) I would definitely recommend rooms.
