We stayed at this motel in June and it WAS THE WORST ROOM I could have ever stayed in. The front desk said it was a non smoking room, but there was an ashtray in the room and it reeked of smoke. The walls were paper thin and you was able to hear the conversations of the people in the next room. Thank goodness I brought my slipper with me. To walk on the carpet was disgusting.

There was a man who was having problems starting his truck at 2am and was having problems. Do you think he would get some help? No, this man attempted to start his car no once, or twice or three time. It was 15 times. This man had no consideration for the sleeping patrons! Never again will I ever recommend this place to anyone.

I got a double room w/ a queen size bed. The room had a persistent smell of marijuana the whole time. Probably due to the fact that the cleaning staff and most of the residents smoke it (for those who don't know about Humboldt County, it is a famous haven for potheads and hippies). They didn't give me any shampoo, there was no refrigerator, the TV only had like 10 channels, but I guess that's what you get for 50 bucks a night. Stay at Best Western unless you don't mind roughing it.
