Great location, close to downtown Albany. Enjoyed our stay, rooms are very spacious, staff was friendly and helpful.

Your Basic Motel 6-I Would Stay Again. This hotel is your basic, run of the mill Motel 6. We stayed there because of the price...you could NOT beat the rate for Albany area. For the price, it was certainly clean and quiet. The front desk staff was more than helpful, providing local maps to numerous eating establishments and directions to Albany Medical.

The most misrepresented / worst motel. Regency Inn and Suites, Southern Blvd., Albany,NY Cigarette butts littered the entrance to lobby and room, pavements were badly cracked, pool was closed and grown over with vines and weeds like a spooky movie. The bldg. next door was in ruins, the main sign in front was covered. We were placed in a poorly lighted rear bldg. The rest of the surrounding area was extremely deteriorated with empty buildings on one side. The outside grills were inoperative and rusted and the general grounds were unacceptable. Our room had a peculiar smell and was not of three star quality. This was clearly a gross misrepresentation in the AAA Tour book as a three star. We certainly will never stay in a Regency Inn again.
