Waste of Money Unless You like Smoke – Posted Apr 15, 2009

Horrible
50 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I've never been to a casino, especially one in California, that had such a lousy filter system. And there is NO separate non-smoking section/room/area. Their "non-smoking section' is 6 slots situated RIGHT IN THE middle of 100's of other smoking are

Excellent
23 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

My friends and I went to the Morongo for a week long getaway, and we had an amazing time. From the time we entered the door we experienced nothing but amazing service. We dined at the Cielo Restaurant, which had recently updated their menu, and the

It's a nice, wide open place inside ... – Posted Sep 06, 2008

Okay

It's a nice, wide open place inside ... but it mainly caters to high rollers who are passing through to dump a few hundred bucks. If you're looking to play penny slots, you're better off continuing down the road to Agua Caliente.

Good

I love Morongo Casino as it is absolutely fantastic. The whole casino, the appearance, the staff, the food...everything is more than you could ask for.

It is a casino, resort and spa...what more could you want. The rooms are beautiful ...

TREATED LIKE A CRIMINAL – Posted Apr 27, 2008
by Onishi  (1 reviews)

Horrible
35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

Recently my husband and I booked a weekend getaway to Morongo resort and spa. To our disbelief, they treated my husband like a criminal because his source of identification was a US Permanent Resident Card (which is a federally issued identification card including his birthdate and fingerprint), which was backed up by an employment identification card issued by the US federal government...also with a fingerprint, and a drivers license of his country of origin. They refused to let us enter the bar and were told that he would not be able to drink alcohol on the premisis. When I took this issue to the restaraunt supervisor, he said "oh those are the ones those Mexicans use" no we don't except those. Despite the fact that my husband was served alcohol in three different areas of the casino earlier that day, (rightly so given that he is in his thirties), they refused to let him drink any further and even had a security guard tail us through the casino. I have never witnessed such blatant discrimination against my husband, just because he is not from this country.

On top of that their rooms have thin walls and their poker room is the worst I have seen on the west coast. You would be much better off in Vegas.

It is one of the nicest Indian casino hotels.

I am very likely to return to the Morongo Casino, Resort and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

heading to Palm Springs? You can't – Posted Nov 02, 2005

Excellent

heading to Palm Springs? You can't miss this behemoth of a casino on the way. it loooms over the desert, and is the only skyscraper in the Cabazon region. Easily accessible from the freeway, Morongo offers great poker, slots of all kinds...

I won a bit of money on a slot machine – Posted Jul 31, 2005

Good

I won a bit of money on a slot machine here once--enough to cover my shopping at the nearby cabazon outlets that day. I like the atmosphere of this casino. They have a good non smoking section, lots of slots and plenty of card tables. The...
